Owner will receive sealed bids until the bid time and date at the location indicated below. Bids will NOT BE read aloud. Owner will consider bids prepared in compliance with the Instructions to Bidders issued by Owner, and delivered as follows:

Bids were received for the following Work:

It is the intent of this Contract to provide quality Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment for the new St. Marys High School, in accordance with the project documents. St. Marys High School is currently under construction.
1. Vendors shall be responsible for providing all approved products, all freight and freight claims and scheduling of all deliveries.
2. All items shall include delivery and installation which shall include unloading, uncrating, setting in place, assembly and adjustment, removal of all packaging and debris and any other activity associated with a total installation.
3. Provide items which are complete in all respects including all standard inserts, accessories, devices, compartments, moveable partitions, etc. These components shall be included as part of the Work whether or not specifically listed.

BIDDING - March 26, 2014 at 2 pm
MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING - March 12, 2014 at 3 PM



The Marion County Board of Education (MCBOE) will receive bids for asbestos abatement/ demolition of East Fairmont Junior High School, located at 1 Orion Lane, Fairmont, West Virginia until 2:00 p.m. local prevailing time on March 26, 2014 at the Marion County Board of Education, 200 Gaston Avenue, Fairmont, West Virginia at which time all bids will be opened.

Bids will be received for the following Work:

The scope of work includes abatement of asbestos containing materials and subsequent demolition of the East Fairmont Junior High School. The former school building is a two story structure and a basement with an approximate 16,300 square foot footprint. The building is masonry and slab on grade construction. The roof decking is concrete. The building has been used as a school since its construction. The building, as well as the roof deck, appears to be structurally sound.

A mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting for all Bidders will be held on March 12, 2014 at 3:00 PM, local time, in the Auditorium of the East Fairmont Junior High School. Any contractor wishing to submit a bid must attend the pre-bid meeting for their bid to be considered.

Bids will be received for the following Work:

New artificial-turf Football/Soccer Field and synthetic-surfaced Running Track/Field Events, associated facilities including Field House structure and two Concession/Toilet structures comprised of masonry, light-gauge metal framing and metal roofs, Weight-Lifting Building and Storage/Timing Building constructed of pre-engineered metal building systems, two bleachers with a press box, scoreboard, fencing and gates. New Baseball and Softball Fields with graded and grassed field areas, dug-outs, bleachers with a press box, scoreboard, fencing and gates. New Tennis area with four courts including bleachers, fencing and gates. New graded and grassed area for Discus and Shot-Put events. Site work includes site grading, erosion control, utility extensions, stormwater systems, lighting, asphalt paving, concrete walks and pads, gravel walkways, additional site fencing and flagpoles.

PRE-BID MEETING - December 18, 2013 at 1 pm


A mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting for all Bidders was held on December 18, 2013 at 1:00 PM, local time, at the existing St. Marys High School Auditorium, 1002 Second Street, St. Marys, West Virginia 26170 with a mandatory visit to the project site.
