Project consists of, but may not be limited to, the following work.
1. SITE WORK:
Site clearing and grubbing, site grading and fine-grading, site utilities including extension of electrical, water and sanitary services to new structures and site features, automated site irrigation system with electronic controls, stormwater appurtenances including inlets, stormlines, headwalls, and subsurface stormwater management systems, fuel pumps, and tanks, package sand-filter sewage treatment plant, site lighting and bollards, paved asphalt roadways with concrete curbs, concrete sidewalks and pads, metal walk-off mats, concrete retaining walls, segmental retaining walls, vehicle guard rails, flagpoles and monuments, benches, trash and flower vase receptacles, vehicle directional signage, chain-link fencing and gates, landscaping, turfs and grasses, and erosion and sedimentation controls are included. Site structures include masonry entry walls with manufactured stone veneer with operable aluminum gates and concrete foundations with steel reinforcing, masonry columbarium walls with manufactured stone veneer and concrete foundations with steel reinforcing, and masonry privacy walls with manufactured stone veneer and concrete foundations with steel reinforcing.
2. BUILDING STRUCTURES:
a. Administration Building / Public Information Center: [2,618 SF]
This single story steel-framed structure will consist of a thickened concrete mat slab on grade with structural metal studs and CMU exterior walls with manufactured stone veneer, precast masonry and face brick veneer, aluminum storefront systems with aluminum doors and windows with low-e insulated glazing, metal roof deck with insulation and standing seam metal roof, metal fascia, gutters and downspouts, insulated fiberglass roof panels at the exterior and EIFS soffits. The interior will include suspended acoustical ceilings, gypsum board ceilings, metal stud and gypsum board partitions with acoustic insulation, solid core wood doors in aluminum and hollow metal frames, plastic laminate casework and countertops, solid-surface countertops, metal lockers, toilet partitions, toilet room accessories, standard plumbing fixtures including water closets, sinks, lavatories, janitor sinks and drinking fountains, split-system electronic heat pump HVAC and exhaust systems, and electric lighting, power and data systems. Finishes include carpet, VCT and ceramic wall and flooring tile, resilient base, painted wood trim and base, and painted drywall.
b. Maintenance Building: [3,232 SF]
This single story structure will be a preengineered metal building system with a thickened concrete mat slab and foundation, insulated metal roof and wall panels, face brick veneer, metal gutters and downspouts, hollow metal doors and frames, aluminum windows with low-e insulated glazing, and motoroperated insulated sectional doors at the exterior. The interior will include suspended acoustical ceilings, metal stud and gypsum board partitions with acoustic insulation, solid core wood doors and hollow metal doors in hollow metal frames, plastic laminate casework and countertops, metal lockers, toilet room accessories, standard plumbing fixtures including water closet, sink, lavatory, and janitor sink, split-system electronic heat pump HVAC and exhaust systems with electric wall heaters, and electric lighting, power and data systems, and an oil / water separator system. Finishes include VCT flooring, resilient base, and painted drywall.
c. Committal Service Shelter: [1,014 SF]
This open air, single story, steel-framed structure will consist of a thickened concrete slab on grade with CMU exterior walls with manufactured stone veneer, precast masonry and face brick veneer, metal roof deck with insulation and standing seam metal roof, metal fascia, gutters and downspouts, insulated fiberglass roof panels at the exterior and composite metal soffits. The interior spaces include painted CMU walls and concrete floor with hollow metal doors and frames. There will be electric lighting, power and public address systems.
d. Storage Shed: [1,045 SF]
This open air, single-story, pre-engineered metal building system will set on a poured-in-place concrete support /divider walls, with sloping metal roof panels and metal wall panels.
Type of Contract.
1. Project will be constructed under coordinated, non-concurrent multiple contracts. See Division 01 Section "Multiple Contract Summary" for a description of work included under each of the multiple contracts and for the responsibilities of contractors. Memorial State
Veterans Cemetery project.
