Tucker Valley Elem/Middle
School Blackwood Associates, Inc. assisted Tucker County Schools in preparation of a proposal for consolidation of Hamrick and Parsons Elementary/Middle Schools. A new school was approved and subsequently funded for construction by the School Building Authority. Initial services by BAI included working with the County to locate an acceptable building site. The need to move quickly with the project dictated the release of a separate bid package for Site Work construction. The mountain top location and weather history of the site required the use of sloped roofs for the entire building.
