ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Enrout Properties, LLC will receive sealed bids for the Morgantown Industrial Park, TIF Phase 6 until 10:15 AM on October 5, 2011 at the Monongalia County Commission Office, County Courthouse, Morgantown, WV at which time all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.

Copies of the contract, plans, specifications, bid documents, and other bidding information are available for public inspection at the office of MSES consultants, inc.  Copies may be purchased by contractors from MSES for a non-refundable deposit of thirty-five ($35.00) payable to MSES consultants, inc.  Copies may also be downloaded from http://www.wvarchitects.com/mip.

The work will be to construct an asphalt paved road and stormwater drainage basin and will involve approximately 5,000 cubic yards of excavation, 8,100 cubic yards of fill, asphalt paving of approximately 1,525 linear feet of roadway to WVDOH Specifications, installation of approximately 60 linear feet of 3’ x 8’ concrete box culvert, 80 linear feet 18” diameter HDPE pipe culvert, 125 linear feet 24” diameter HDPE pipe culverts, 1,515 linear feet of 6” gas pipeline and 2,400 linear feet of guardrail.

Each bidder must submit, along with the bid forms, a bid bond equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid.  The bid bond may be in the form of a cashier’s check or surety bond properly secured.  The bid bond will be retained by Enrout Properties, LLC and returned upon the contract award and execution of a contract with the lowest responsible bidder.  The bidder awarded the contract must provide both a surety performance bond and payment bond equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the bid.

Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope, clearly marked “Bid-Morgantown Industrial Park-TIF Phase 6”, and must be received no later than 10:15 AM on October 5, 2011 by Ms. Diane DeMedici, Monongalia County Administrator, Monongalia County Commission, County Courthouse, Morgantown, WV  26505.  No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days from the date the bids are opened
